Hey, I'm X.

My complete legal name is X O (yes, literally just two single letters). People usually assume I’m giving them a fake name until I show them my ID. Far as I know, I'm the only person in the USA with a name like this.

Such a name comes with many challenges, e.g., not being able to use Cash App due to their policy stating you can't use "one-character first or last names". Another example, not being able to signup with Chime as their registration systems refuse to accept single-character names.

There are more examples I could give, but those two can give a glimpse of the inconveniences with having such a name. I, however, do not complain as I love my name and would never compromise.

What am I into?

Being a tech (system and network administrating) guy, I find the homelab hobby ridiculously addictive. At one point, I was running a monstrous server setup with a beefy CPU and 128 GB of RAM. Sadly, I had to let go of that setup and I am starting all over again. I am, for now, running a Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB) and two remote VPS.

I may not have expensive gear, but I absolutely love photography and videography. I shoot mostly with my old Sony A6000 and my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and I’ll be sharing my content directly here on the blog.

I love traveling parts of the world. My significant other, Kai and I have been to many interesting places, such as the Bahamas, Mexico, Canada and parts of the US.

I’m also big on privacy and security, which is why I have kept certain personal details out of this page. That said, I’m pretty open if you reach out privately, so feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
